Ok, my husband and I stumbled across a fantastic deal tonight. While walking past the bakery section around 5:30 p.m., we noticed boxes of items with orange price stickers. There were boxes of croissants, 4 packs of huge blueberry muffins, and apple turnovers. They were all marked $0.99!!!!!!!! Of course we had to grab a few of these bargains. The best part came when we looped back around the store to pick up a forgotten item. Sitting on the same bakery counter were whole cakes! We got a German Chocolate cake for $3.99. This is one of their premium cakes. Truly a phenomenal deal.
This is not the first time I have found a bargain at the Winn Dixie bakery. Every evening around 5:00, they announce that their doughnuts in the case will be $1.49 per dozen. You get to pick any kind you want. Yum!
